The posters showcase Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi as The Creature, Mia Goth as Elizabeth Harlander, Christoph Waltz as Heinrich Harlander, and Felix Kammerer as William Frankenstein.

Additional cast members include Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Christian Convery, Ralph Ineson, and Charles Dance. The story follows scientist Victor Frankenstein, whose experiment to create life leads to tragic consequences for both creator and creation.
Mia Goth, who plays Elizabeth, admitted feeling anxious about joining the project. Speaking to Variety, she said, “I’ve never been so scared stepping into a movie. I really haven’t. It was a lot for me, and I was always in my head. I kept thinking to myself, ‘Guillermo del Toro is making Frankenstein, the movie you’ve always wanted him to make, and I get to be a part of that.’”
Meanwhile, Guillermo del Toro will host an IMAX screening and Q&A at the TCL Chinese Theatre on October 31. Guests are invited to dress as his film characters.
The film’s development marks the conclusion of Guillermo del Toro’s decades-long fascination with the story. “This film concludes a quest that started at age 7, when I saw James Whale’s Frankenstein films for the first time…Gothic horror became my church, and Boris Karloff my Messiah,” he said earlier. Early reviews have been positive, with the film currently holding an 81% Rotten Tomatoes score from 100 critics. Netflix’s release of the posters follows the second trailer, which offered a closer look at Elordi’s portrayal of the Creature and the film’s darkly poetic atmosphere.
