Harry Potter Actor’s New Horror Movie Gets Release Date

A new update confirmed that New Line Cinema has set a release date for They Will Kill You. The studio scheduled the Zazie Beetz-led horror thriller, which also features Tom Felton, for early 2026. The announcement comes as production moves forward under director Kirill Sokolov.

New Line Cinema will release They Will Kill You on March 27, 2026. Kirill Sokolov directs the film from a script he co-wrote with Alex Litvak. The cast features Zazie Beetz, Patricia Arquette, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Myha’la. New Line will co-finance and distribute the project, with production officially starting in mid-September across multiple locations.

The horror thriller film blends elements of Ready or Not and The Raid. It follows a woman (Beetz) who accepts a housekeeping job in a mysterious New York high-rise. She discovers that the building’s residents hide a disturbing history of disappearances tied to a potential Satanic cult. Arquette reportedly plays the head of the co-op, and Felton is said to appear as one of the cult members.

Skydance and Nocturna Pictures, the horror label founded earlier this year by Andy and Barbara Muschietti, produce the film. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, the Muschiettis, and Dan Kagan, known for Longlegs, serve as producers. Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, Kirill Sokolov, Alex Litvak, and Carl Hampe executive produce the highly anticipated horror feature.

They Will Kill You will debut alongside Disney’s The Dog Stars, Ridley Scott’s sci-fi thriller led by Jacob Elordi and Margaret Qualley, and also featuring Josh Brolin, Benedict Wong, and Guy Pearce. The upcoming Beetz-led film strengthens Warner Bros.’ spring 2026 lineup, which also includes a Minecraft sequel, a new Ocean’s movie featuring Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie, and the animated film Bad Fairies scheduled for wide release.
