The Family Plan 2 Release Date & Poster Revealed for Mark Wahlberg Action Movie
Apple TV+ has revealed the release date and poster for The Family Plan 2, an action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg. It is a sequel to 2023’s The Family Plan.
Wahlberg stars as Dan Morgan, a former covert assassin who left a life of espionage to start a family. When his past enemies track him down, Dan must rely on his old skills to protect his unsuspecting family from danger.
“Set during the holiday season, The Family Plan 2 follows Dan, who planned the perfect vacation for his wife Jessica and their kids to celebrate overseas, until a mysterious figure from his past shows up with unfinished business,” according to Apple’s synopsis. “An international game of cat-and-mouse ensues as Dan and his family battle, bicker, and bond their way through a series of bank heists, holiday hijinks, and car chases amid scenic European terrain.”

When is The Family Plan 2 release date?
The Family Plan 2 premieres on November 21 on Apple TV+.
Michelle Monaghan stars as Jessica Morgan, Dan’s wife, while Kit Harington plays a mysterious figure from Dan’s past who’s out to get him.
The Family Plan 2 also stars Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Peter Lindsey, Theodore Lindsey, and Reda Elazouar.
Simon Cellan Jones directs The Family Plan 2 from a screenplay by David Coggeshall. Jones and Coggeshall served in the same roles on The Family Plan.
“Making The Family Plan and seeing it become an instant success with global audiences in the way that it did has been incredibly rewarding,” Wahlberg said in a statement to announce the sequel. “We can’t wait to collaborate with our partners at Apple and Skydance again on this next chapter for the Morgan family as their European holiday inevitably goes awry.”
The Apple Original Film hails from Skydance Media. Producers include Wahlberg, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Stephen Levinson.
