Masters of the Universe Movie Gets New Details, Concept Art
Amazon MGM Studios‘ upcoming Masters of the Universe movie has received brand new key art. In addition, studio executive Greg Coleman has also shared some new details about the live-action adaptation’s story.
During a recent appearance at the Brand Licensing Europe, Coleman teased the movie’s “fun” and “entertaining” story. He also revealed that fans of the game will get to see Easter eggs throughout the adaptation.
“Skeletor is one of the most delicious villains of all time, but there’s also a story of Adam, who is a regular person and has to grab the power. It’s always within him, and it’s revealed in a powerful way,” Coleman said. “We have this full-dimensional cast and [director] Travis Knight, who had a vision. Even if you have never seen Masters of the Universe, it’s a fun, entertaining story.”
He continued, “For the long-term fans, there are Easter eggs in the film, but stepping back, the entry point for fans is broad. The entry point will be very approachable for everyone . . . This will be the film everyone will be talking about.”

But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man: the most powerful man in the Universe!”
The movie arrives in theaters on June 5, 2026.
