Zootopia 2 Cast Adds Andy Samberg, Reveals Macaulay Culkin’s Character & More

The upcoming Disney animated movie Zootopia 2 has added new cast members, including Andy Samberg and David Strathairn.

The sequel to the 2016 film sees the return of Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. The sequel has confirmed that Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan will join the cast as Gary De’Snake, while Idris Elba, Bonnie Hunt, Shakira, Jenny Slate, Alan Tudyk, and Nate Torrence will also be reprising their roles from the first film.

Zootopia 2 will feature the Lynxley family, one of Zootopia’s oldest and most prestigious families. The father, Milton Lynxley, is a distinguished business-mammal. He will be voiced by David Strathairn (Nomadland, Nightmare Alley, The Bourne Ultimatum). Milton has three children, one of whom is Pawbert Lynxley, the easygoing runt of the family. Pawbert will be voiced by Samberg (Saturday Night Live, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Palm Springs).

Who does Macaulay Culkin play in Zootopia 2?

In a Hot Ones interview in July 2025, actor Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone, My Girl) confirmed that he and his partner and fiancée, Brenda Song (The Social Network, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, The Last Showgirl), will appear in Zootopia 2.

Culkin and Song will portray the two other Lynxley children. Culkin voices Cattrick, the ambitious oldest son. Song plays Kitty, the sharp-tongued daughter.
