The Conjuring: Last Rites is set to release next week, and ahead of it, reactions for the film are beginning to come out, hinting at a scary conclusion to the legendary horror franchise.

What are The Conjuring: Last Rites reactions saying?

Check out some of the reactions to The Conjuring: Last Rites below:

The movie will take place in 1986, when Ed and Lorraine have already retired from their exorcist business after the former suffered a heart attack during the events of 2021’s The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The case that will bring them back from retirement revolves around the Smurl family, who started experiencing supernatural occurences after moving into a new home which is somehow reminiscent of the first installment’s Perron family case.

The Conjuring: Last Rites is directed by Michael Chaves from a screenplay written by Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing, based on story by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and franchise creator James Wan. The film is produced by Wan and Peter Safran, with Michael Clear and Judson Scott serving as executive producers.
