Tramell Tillman’s Spider-Man 4 News Possibly Debunks His Kang Casting Rumor
A rumor suggesting that Tramell Tillman might be playing Kang the Conqueror in Spider-Man 4 has seemingly been debunked. It was recently announced that the Severance actor will be joining the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. While his role has not been disclosed yet, fans have been speculating over which part the actor might be playing.
Tramell Tillman’s Spider-Man 4 casting might prove he won’t replace Jonathan Majors
With the announcement that Tramell Tillman is set to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, discussions surrounding his mysterious role have been buzzing on social media. While many suspected that the actor might play Kang, that rumor appears to have been debunked, and now many fans believe that Tillman might’ve been cast as Norman Osborn. However, this is still just speculation, as nothing about his casting has been revealed by Marvel yet. According to a report by Variety, Tillman’s role is still being kept under wraps.
In February 2025, Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider stated that Marvel was probably looking to get Tillman to replace Jonathan Majors and play Kang in Avengers: Doomsday. He conveyed that the studio was looking to get Tillman on board and said, “If that is the case, and Kang is back and there is an actor who they convince to say yes, I heard that actor might be Tramell Tilman from Severance.”
He added, “Tramell Tillman, I think you could see pop up for a scene as Kang getting killed by Doom or something like that.” However, recent speculation has moved away from this rumor.
Marvel head Kevin Feige was previously asked about the Kang storyline and why it was dropped. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Feige stated, “We had started to realize that Kang wasn’t big enough, wasn’t Thanos, and that there was only one character that could be that, because he was that in the comics for decades and decades. We finally had it, and it was Dr. Doom.”
