Hulu has released the full The Man in My Basement trailer, highlighting the upcoming horror-thriller starring Willem Dafoe as a mysterious tenant looking for a room.

What happens in The Man in My Basement trailer?

The Man in My Basement follows the story of Charles Blakey (Corey Hawkins), a man about to lose his ancestral home when a mysterious man (Dafoe) shows up and offers to rent his basement for the summer.

The Man in My Basement will be in theaters beginning on September 12, 2025. Later in the year, the movie will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ in the fall. Check out the trailer below (watch other trailers):

Alongside Dafoe and Hawkins, The Man in My Basement also stars Anna Diop, Jonathan Ajayi, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr., Pamela Nomvete, and Tamara Lawrence. The movie is directed by Nadia Latif, from a screenplay written by Latif and Walter Mosley.
