When does Superman come out on Digital, 4K, & Blu-ray?

Warner Bros. has finally announced the Superman digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for James Gunn‘s latest blockbuster superhero movie. This serves as the first movie in Gunn’s DC Universe. So far, it has already garnered a worldwide gross of over $579 million at the box office.

“When Superman is drawn into conflicts both abroad and at home, his actions to protect humankind are questioned, and his vulnerability allows tech billionaire and master deceiver Lex Luthor to leverage the opportunity to get Superman out of the way for good,|” reads the official synopsis. “Will the Daily Planet’s intrepid reporter Lois Lane, together with the aid of Metropolis’s other metahumans and Superman’s own four-legged companion, Krypto, be able to help Superman before Luthor can completely destroy him?”

When is the Superman digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates?

Superman will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on August 15. This will then be followed by its 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on September 23. The movie currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 83% on Rotten Tomatoes.
