Spider-Man: Brand New Day Set Videos Shed More Light on Tank Action Scene

New videos taken from the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, also known as Spider-Man 4, have emerged online.

Spider-Man 4 is currently in production. The Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures movie will see Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, while Zendaya and Jacob Batalon also return as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson and Ned Leeds.

What do we see in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day set videos?

Since production began on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, a number of set videos have been shared — including one from Sony Pictures Entertainment — teasing a massive action scene that involves a tank.

New set videos have now emerged on Twitter, shedding further light on this action scene. One of the videos shows Spider-Man standing on the side of the tank while it’s moving, while the other depicts him riding on top of the now-smoking vehicle.

Plot details for Spider-Man 4 remain under wraps at this time. In addition to Holland, Zendaya, and Batalon, the film will see Jon Bernthal reprise his role as Frank Castle/Punisher, while Mark Ruffalo also returns as Bruce Banner/Hulk. Michael Mando’s Scorpion/Mac Gargan will be in the movie, this being his first MCU appearance since 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, while both Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink and The Bear’s Liza Colón-Zayas have been cast in undisclosed roles.

The project is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously made 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings for Marvel and is also a co-creator on the forthcoming Wonder Man show. Prior to Shang-Chi, Cretton made 2012’s I Am Not a Hipster, 2013’s Short Term 12, 2017’s The Glass Castle, and 2019’s Just Mercy.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in United States theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.
