Spider-Man: Brand New Day official BTS video released
On Sunday, August 10, Sony Pictures shared a video of Tom Holland’s Day 1 on set for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The 60-second-long footage depicts Holland filming a tank chase sequence, speaking to Cretton and fans who were present on the set, and reflecting on his fourth outing as the MCU’s Peter Parker / Spider-Man.
The clip begins with Holland’s arrival on the set and hugging Cretton. He is then asked how he is feeling. The 29-year-old actor responds, “Yeah, I feel good, man.”
Holland noted in the video that this was his “fourth ever day one on Spider-Man,” adding, “You know, it’s funny putting the suit on. It feels different this time somehow. It’s also the first time we’ve ever had fans on set for day one. So, it’s really exciting to share this with them. I’m just going to do my best.”
The Chaos Walking actor continued by stating that they had some familiar faces on the set as he interacted with what appeared to be returning crew members in the video. He then said about the movie, “Hopefully, get it right. No pressure.”
After apparently filming a scene with the tank, Holland exclaimed, “That felt sick!”
Creton is developing Brand New Day from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Besides Holland, the cast includes Zendaya as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk, and Sadie Sink.
Holland also shared the above-mentioned video on Instagram. Spider-Man: Brand New Day debuts in U.S. theaters on July 31, 2026.
