The Bad Guys 2 has not been released yet in the United States. However, the end credits were posted by a user named Rendy Jones on X (formerly Twitter).
According to the post, the end credits displayed, “All rights in this work are reserved for purposes of laws in all jurisdictions pertaining to data mining or AI training, including but not limited to Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790. This work may not be used to train AI.”
Additionally, Jones lauded Dreamworks for taking a stand against AI training. He further wrote, “The end credits of BAD GUYS 2 said, ‘Screw AI. Try stealing our work! It’ll be a crime to your artless ass.’ All I must say to this is SAY THAT SHIT WITH YOUR WHOLE CHEST DREAMWORKS ANIMATION! SPEAK ON IT!”
This allows Dreamworks to take legal action against anyone who tries to recreate similar content to The Bad Guys 2. With AI constantly becoming a prominent part of the cinema industry, fans are also praising the renowned film studio for the bold move.
