What is the Traumatika movie about?
“A young boy’s night terrors become reality when his mother begins showing signs of demonic possession. What he’s about to experience will haunt him for the rest of his life and claim countless lives across generations,” reads the movie’s official synopsis.
Traumatika is directed and produced by Pierre Tsigaridis, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Maxime Rançon. The horror movie stars Rebekah Kennedy as Abigail, Emily Goss as Alice, Ranen Navat as Mikey, AJ Bowen as Sheriff Miller, Sean O’Bryan as John Reed, Susan Gayle Watts, Sean Whalen as Steve, and more. It is executive produced by Rancon and Jean-Pierre Morreale. In addition, Tsigaridis also serves as its cinematographer and editor, with Gioacchino Marincola set as the composer.
“Traumatika is not a movie you see – it’s a movie you experience. And there’s no better way to experience it than on the big screen,” Saban co-presidents Jonathan Saba and Shanan Becker said in a previous statement after the company acquired the movie’s North American distribution rights (via Variety). “It’s hard to prepare yourself for the highly disturbing film that Pierre and Maxime have created. They are truly mad genius storytellers… consider yourself warned.”
