Lilo & Stitch Digital, 4K, Blu-ray, & DVD Release Dates Set for Remake

Disney has finally announced the Lilo & Stitch digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for its latest live-action remake, based on the beloved 2002 animated movie of the same name. Since its theatrical debut, the film has received a Popcornmeter score of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Experience this funny and touching live-action reimagining of Disney’s animated classic. When a lonely girl named Lilo adopts Stitch, an alien ‘puppy,’ Stitch helps to mend Lilo’s broken family — but not without wreaking hilarious havoc on the Hawaiian Islands,” reads the official synopsis.

When is the Lilo & Stitch digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates?

The live-action Lilo & Stitch movie will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on July 22. It will then be followed by its 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD releases on August 26. In addition, Disney will also be releasing a must-have 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook edition, featuring a bold cover art with Stitch breaking through the cover.

The live-action Lilo & Stitch movie was directed by Dean Fleischer Camp from a screenplay written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes.

The ensemble cast includes Chris Sanders as the voice of Stitch, Zach Galifianakis as the voice of Dr. Jumba, Maia Kealoha as Lilo Pelekai, Billy Magnussen as the voice of Pleakley, Sydney Agudong as Nani, Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles, Kaipo Dudoit as David, Amy Hill as Tūtū, Tia Carrere as Mrs. Kekoa, and Jason Scott Lee.

During its theatrical run, the remake earned a worldwide gross of over $1 billion at the box office, making it the highest-grossing live-action/animated hybrid to date.
