Tyrese Gibson & Max Martini Unearth a Conspiracy in Hollywood Grit Trailer | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Hollywood Grit trailer for the upcoming crime thriller movie, featuring Tyrese Gibson (Fast & Furious franchise) and Max Martini (Pacific Rim, The Unit). It is currently slated to arrive in select theaters on Friday, August 22.

“When his estranged daughter and aspiring singer mysteriously vanishes from the glamorous yet perilous world of a Hollywood jazz club, a fallen detective must confront his past demons and navigate a treacherous path of corruption and deceit to find her, unearthing a conspiracy that shakes him to his core,” reads the official synopsis.

What is Hollywood Grit about?

Hollywood Grit is directed by Ryan Curtis, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Kristina Denton. It is described as a neo-noir tale of redemption, fatherhood, and the high cost of ambition in a city that devours innocence for breakfast. It is executive produced by Adler, Melanie McClain, Michael Guerin, Greg Scott, Dana Guerin, Alex Cutler, Jed Klemlow, and Arron Nelson, with Curtis, Martini, Justin Folger, Bryan Eliacin, and David B. Meadows serving as producers.

Besides Gibson and Martini, the movie also stars Linda Purl, Patrick Duffy, Nikki Howard, Linc Hand, David B. Meadows, Caylee Cowan, Benito Martinez, and Ysabela Espinosa. The cast and crew are composed of several military veterans from multiple branches of the United States Armed Forces. A portion of the film’s proceeds will be donated directly to Veterans in Media & Entertainment (VME) as a way to help them continue their vital mission of providing essential resources and support for veterans pursuing careers in the entertainment industry.
