M3GAN 2.0 Gets Unrated Version, Sets Digital, 4K, & Blu-ray Release Dates

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the M3GAN 2.0 digital, 4K, and Blu-ray release dates for Blumhouse‘s latest sequel to 2023’s hit sci-fi horror movie. Since making its theatrical debut, the film has already earned a worldwide gross of $36 million at the box office.

“When an autonomous android engineered to be the ultimate weapon threatens M3GAN’s beloved Cady, M3GAN convinces her creator, Gemma, to give her a glow-up that makes the original A.I. diva even deadlier. Armed with wild new upgrades and her same iconic attitude, M3GAN claps back against the wannabe techno-terror in a fierce faceoff to crown the baddest bot built for maximum mayhem,” reads the official synopsis.

When are the M3GAN 2.0 digital, 4K, and Blu-ray release dates?

MEGAN 2.0 will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting tomorrow, July 15. This will then be followed by its 4K UHD and Blu-ray releases on September 23, 2025. Despite garnering mixed reviews from critics, the sequel still managed to receive a Popcornmeter score of 82% on Rotten Tomatoes.

M3GAN 2.0 was written and directed by returning filmmaker Gerard Johnstone from a story by Johnstone and Akela Cooper, based on characters created by Cooper and James Wan. The cast includes Allison Williams, Jenna Davis, Violet McGraw, Ivanna Sakhno, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp, and Jemaine Clement. It is produced by Wan, Williams, and Jason Blum, with Joe Hill, Johnstone, Adam Hendricks, Greg Gilreath, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Mark D. Katchur serving as executive producers.
