
The Conjuring 4K Release Date Set Ahead of Last Rites, Has New Content
Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has announced The Conjuring 4K release date for New Line Cinema’s acclaimed 2013 supernatural drama. This comes ahead of The Conjuring: Last Rites‘ theatrical release on September 5, serving as the long-running horror franchise’s final movie about Ed and Lorraine Warren.
“Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. The Conjuring movie tells the horrifying true story of Ed and Lorraine Warren, world renowned paranormal investigators, who were called to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives,” reads the synopsis.

When is The Conjuring 4K release date?
The Conjuring is now available to rent or own on digital platforms in 4K Ultra HD. For the first time, the movie will also be available for purchase on 4K UHD Blu-ray release starting on August 26, after over a decade since the original movie had made its theatrical debut. At the moment, it currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the highest-rated installment of franchise to date.

The Conjuring was directed by James Wan from a screenplay written by Chad Haymes and Carey W. Hayes. The movie was led by Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Hayley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver, Sterling Jerins, Marion Guyot, Steve Coulter, Shannon Kook, and John Brotherton.
