Fantastic Four Stars Old & New Pose for Photo Together

At the opening night of Rachel Zegler’s Evita play in London, an unexpected Marvel crossover happened between The Fantastic Four: First Steps star Pedro Pascal and an original star from Fox’s Fantastic Four movies. This comes ahead of First Steps’ upcoming theatrical release on July 25, 2025.

“Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet,” reads the official synopsis. “Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer. And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”

What Fantastic Four star did Pedro Pascal meet?

In a newly shared photo on X, Pascal can be seen posing with Jessica Alba, who originally played Susan Storm/Invisible Woman in 2005’s Fantastic Four and 2007’s Rise of the Silver Surfer. In the upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Pascal will portray the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is directed by Matt Shakman, who previously helmed all nine episodes of the WandaVision miniseries. The movie is also led by Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/ Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

Additional cast members include Julia Garner (Ozark) as the Silver Surfer, Ralph Ineson (Harry Potter) as Galactus, Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face), and Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird). Before the rights reverted to Marvel Studios, the titular team was previously adapted into live-action by Sony Pictures twice. Their first iteration spawned two movies, which starred Chris Evans as the Human Torch.
