Protectors of the Land is a new supernatural action movie that is directed, written, and produced by Lauro Chartrand-DelValle. It stars Tim Rozon, Tanaya Beatty, Nathaniel Arcand, and more.

When is the Tubi release date for Protectors of the Land?

Protectors of the Land will be available to stream on Tubi on July 4, 2025.

“The supernatural action thriller follows a white man (Rozon) who becomes embroiled in a violent drug war in their Alaskan town,” a description of the film reads. “His Indigenous wife (Beatty) becomes endangered during the conflict, which prompts him to team with her brother (Arcand) to find justice.”

The film is executive produced by Sharlene Royer, while Graham Greene (Wind River, Dances with Wolves) also stars. Check out a poster for the movie below:

In addition to directing Protectors of the Land, Chartrand-DelValle serves as stunt coordinator and second unit director for FX’s Shogun series. He and Royer both won the Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series SAG Award for their work on the popular television show, which is getting a second season.

Additionally, Chartrand-DelValle is a stunt coordinator and second unit director on CBS’ Tracker. He and Royer are currently developing their next feature film, which is titled Crimson Creek Massacre.

Rozon, meanwhile, is known for playing Mutt Schitt on Schitt’s Creek, Tommy Quincy in Instant Star, and Doc Holliday in Wynonna Earp. He starred as O’Shea in Karate Kid: Legends, a film that was released in the United States in May 2025 and grossed approximately $103 million worldwide.

Beatty’s acting credits include 2011’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, 2017’s Hostiles, 2022’s Crimes of the Future, 2022’s God’s Country, and Yellowstone, while Arcand recently starred in Ryan Coogler’s Sinners.
