Fantastic Four Character Posters Highlight MCU’s Newest Heroes

Marvel Studios has shared some of the international The Fantastic Four: First Steps posters for the long-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot of Marvel’s first family. Set to kick off the MCU’s Phase 6, the movie is scheduled to make its debut in theaters on July 25, 2025.

What is shown in The Fantastic Four: First Step posters?

The posters provide fans with a new look at the titular superhero team consisting of franchise newcomers Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/ Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. The international posters highlight each hero’s powers, along with their dependable and loyal robot H.E.R.B.I.E.

“Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet,” reads the official synopsis. “Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer. And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is directed by Matt Shakman, who previously helmed all nine episodes of the WandaVision miniseries. Additional cast members include Natasha Lyone (Poker Face), Julia Garner (Ozark) as the Silver Surfer, Ralph Ineson (Harry Potter) as Galactus, and Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird). Before the rights reverted to Marvel Studios, the titular team was previously adapted into live-action by Sony Pictures twice. Their first iteration spawned two movies, which starred Chris Evans as the Human Torch.
