The Woman in the Yard Peacock Release Date Set for Danielle Deadwyler Horror Movie
Following its home video release, Universal Pictures has finally announced the Peacock release date for The Woman in the Yard, the upcoming global streaming debut of Blumhouse’s newest supernatural horror thriller movie. Since its debut, the movie has received mixed reviews from critics. It currently holds a Tomatometer rating of 40% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 57 reviews.
In our review of The Woman in the Yard, even though the movie didn’t catch most critics or audiences’ attention, we still gave the film a good score for its “carefully crafted psychological horror film that operates on multiple levels. At its core, it is a thriller, but beneath the eerie atmosphere and creeping tension lies a deeply affecting meditation on grief and trauma. That’s something the trailers didn’t show much of, but it exists throughout the film and becomes the main focus by the end.”
