Superman: Guy Gardner, Krypto, & More Featured in New DCU Movie Posters

New character posters for James Gunn’s Superman movie have been released.

Superman officially flies into United States theaters next month from Warner Bros. Pictures. Written and directed by Gunn, the DCU movie stars David Corenswet as the titular Man of Steel, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and more.

The official Superman account on X has released a number of new character posters promoting the forthcoming movie. In addition to Corenswet, the character posters feature Krypto, Alan Tudyk’s Superman Robot #4, Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner, Edi Gathegi’s Mr. Terrific, and Isabela Merced’s Hawgirl.

The cast of Superman also includes Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Terence Rosemarie as Otis, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., and María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer.

“Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures,” the official synopsis for the movie reads. “In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor, and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.”

The film is produced by Gunn and Peter Safran, while Nikolas Korda, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars Winther serve as executive producers.

Superman will be released in United States theaters and IMAX on July 11, 2025, as part of the DCU’s first chapter, which is titled “Gods and Monsters.”
