William Tell Blu-ray Giveaway for Historical Epic Movie With Ben Kingsley
ComingSoon is excited to host a William Tell Blu-ray giveaway for the action movie based on Friedrich Schiller’s play.
The historical epic is out on digital now and will become available on Blu-Ray on June 10. It stars Claes Bang (Bad Sisters) as the titular folk hero and features a cast that includes Connor Swindells (Sex Education), Jonah Hauer-King (The Little Mermaid), Ellie Bamber (Red, White & Royal Blue), Golshifteh Farahani (Extraction), Rafe Spall (The Big Short), Emily Beecham (Daphne), Jonathan Pryce (The Crown), and Academy Award-Winner Ben Kingsley (Schindler’s List).
“Inspired by the legendary tale, Claes Bang takes on the role of William Tell, a noble huntsman whose peaceful life is shattered when the ruthless Austrian Empire invades his homeland of Switzerland. Unwilling to bend the knee before his country’s oppressors, William Tell is thrust into a perilous trial, one that draws him and his family into the epicenter of a revolution that will shape the destiny of his nation,” says the synopsis.

The movie is written and directed by Nick Hamm (Driven, White Lines). The film is produced by Piers Tempest (The Wife, Emily) and Marie-Christine Jaeger-Firmenich (Gigi & Nate).
