Asteroid City’s Jake Ryan Falls in Love in Lemonade Blessing Teaser Trailer | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Lemonade Blessing teaser trailer for the newest coming-of-age dramedy led by Asteroid City star Jake Ryan. He is no stranger to the genre, having previously starred in Wes Anderson’s 2012 movie Moonrise Kingdom and Bo Burnham’s 2018 movie Eighth Grade. This comes ahead of the film’s world premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival.

What happens in the Lemonade Blessing teaser trailer?

The video introduces Ryan as John, his devout mom’s perfect boy, who enters a private Catholic high school where he unexpectedly falls in love with a rebellious girl. The cast also includes Jeanine Serralles (Inside Llewyn Davis, Utopia), Skye Alyssa Friedman (I Am Frankie), Miles J. Harvey (Supercool, The Babysitter), Michael Oloyede (Brooklyn.Blue.Sky, Maniac), Todd Gearhart (Law & Order, Sweetbitter) and Keith William Richards (Uncut Gems).

Lemonade Blessing is written and directed by Chris Merola in his feature directorial debut. It is produced by Merola, Raza Rizvi, Aruba Sülzana, and Samuel Ashurov. The creative team also includes cinematographer Harrison Kraft, editor Edouard Fan, editor Abhineet Kumar, and more. The movie will have a total runtime of 100 minutes, or an hour and 40 minutes.

“Freshly tossed into a private Catholic high school by his devout mother, John falls head over heels for a devious classmate ready to push his faith (and morals) to the brink with a series of increasingly uncomfortable actions, all in the name of love,” reads the movie’s official synopsis.
