Peter Pan Star Goes on a Drug Heist in Oxy Morons Trailer | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Oxy Morons trailer for Entertainment Squad’s upcoming crime comedy. The movie is set to make its debut on June 10, on-demand and on digital platforms.

“The movie follows a disillusioned logistics worker who spirals into a drug-smuggling scheme targeting his own pharmaceutical client,” reads the synopsis. “As Wayne’s debts rise and the law closes in, he hatches a misguided plan to steal opioids—kicking off a series of botched heists, absurd encounters, and unexpected consequences.”

What happens in the Oxy Morons trailer?

The video features Peter Pan star Jeremy Sumpter, whose character suddenly gets involved in a drug-smuggling scheme. The ensemble cast also includes Laura Ashley Samuels (Modern Family), Jeremy Holm (House of Cards), John Pirruccello (Barry), and Rae Gray (A League of Their Own).

“Amid ongoing debates about healthcare and corporate ethics, Oxy Morons offers a fresh comedic perspective on these pressing issues,” Entertainment Squad CEO Shaked Berenson said in a statement.

Oxy Morons is directed by Sarah Cayce from a screenplay written by Grant Troyer. The movie is produced by Jaje Prine and Tony Wash. The creative team also includes cinematographer Robert Patrick Stern and editor Jill DiBiase.

“I signed on to tell a story about drugs, lies, and submarines,” Cayce shared. “I never expected the real world of exploding submarines, Big Pharma scandals, and tomfoolery at the highest levels to be so closely tied to our story – it must be the time to tell truths with big laughs. This cast and crew made a phenomenal movie packed with pills and full of hair-brained heists.”
