Sinners Scores IMAX 70mm Rerelease After Thunderbolts*, WB Gives Statement
Sinners may have had to vacate IMAX theaters because of Thunderbolts* release; however, Warner Bros. is giving people a chance to see it in 70mm once again.
Ryan Coogler’s Sinners was released in United States theaters in April 2025. Starring Michael B. Jordan in dual roles, the vampire movie proved to be a massive hit, as it has so far made $181.4 million at the global box office.
Per Variety, Warner Bros. will rerelease Sinners in IMAX 70mm in select theaters in North America from May 15 to May 21, 2025.
Participating locations include New York City, New York’s AMC Lincoln Square 13 & IMAX; Los Angeles, California’s Universal Cinema AMC at Citywalk Hollywood & IMAX; Irvine, California’s Regal Irvine Spectrum & IMAX; San Francisco, California’s AMC Metreon 16 & IMAX; Indianapolis, Indiana’s IMAX Indiana State Museum; Tempe, Arizona’s Harkins Arizona Mills 18 & IMAX; Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s Autonation IMAX, Museum of Discovery & Science; Dallas, Texas’ Cinemark Dallas & IMAX; and Woodbridge, Ontatrio’s Cineplex Cinemas Vaughan.

What did Warner Bros. say about Sinners’ IMAX 70mm rerelease?

In addition to Jordan, Sinners stars Miles Caton as Sammie, Hailee Steinfeld as Mary, Jack O’Connell as Remmick, Wunmi Mosaku as Annie, Delroy Lindo as Delta Slim, Jayme Lawson as Pearline, Omar Miller as Cornbread, and Li Jun Li as Grace.
