
Tom Hiddleston Happily Dances in Mike Flanagan’s The Life of Chuck Trailer
Neon has shared the official The Life of Chuck trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King‘s 2020 novella If It Bleeds. The movie hails from The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan. This marks Flanagan’s third time adapting King’s novel into a movie, following 2017’s Gerald’s Game and The Shining sequel.
“The film tells the extraordinary story of an ordinary man. This unforgettable, genre-bending tale celebrates the life of Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz as he experiences the wonder of love, the heartbreak of loss, and the multitudes contained in all of us,” reads the official synopsis.

Who is in The Life of Chuck trailer?
The video provides a closer look at its main cast, led by Golden Globe winner Tom Hiddleston as the titular character. The trailer also features Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Matthew Lillard (Scream), Mia Sara (Ferris Bueller’s Day Out), Jacob Tremblay (Doctor Sleep), Kate Siegel (Hush), and Annalise Basso (Snowpiercer).
The Life of Chuck is written and directed by Flanagan, who is also producing under his Intrepid Pictures banner. The ensemble cast will also include Karen Gillian (Guardians of the Galaxy), Carl Lumbly, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Matt Biedel, Sauriyan Sapkota, Michael Trucco, Violet McGraw, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Molly Quinn, Heather Langenkamp, Harvey Guillén, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Q’orianka Kilcher, Antonio Raul Corbo, David Dastmalchian, Taylor Gordon, Benjamin Pajak and more. The movie is executive produced by Elan Gale, D. Scott Lumpkin, Melinda Nishioka, Molly C. Quinn, and Matthew M. Welty, with Trevor Macy producing.
The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 6, 2025.
