Nathan Fielder’s You Can See Everything Trailer Teases Wild Elizabeth Holmes Movie

A24 has released a new trailer for the anticipated Elizabeth Holmes documentary. Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, You Can See Everything had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival earlier in September and has gained rave reviews from critics.

The official synopsis reads, “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss.”

What happens in You Can See Everything trailer?

The trailer follows Canadian filmmaker, actor, and comedian Nathan Fielder after he was invited to stay with Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, her husband, and their children in 2023.

It opens with Fielder asking, “You really feel you did nothing wrong?” to which Holmes replies, “I did not.” Fielder then follows up by asking where things went wrong. In response, the Theranos founder says, “I don’t know. I don’t feel like I understand that.”

As the trailer goes on, the comedian interrogates her husband, Billy Evans. Fielder asks him, “You’ve never been suspicious that she’s lied to you?” and Evans confidently replies, “No. Ever.” However, Fielder eventually suggests that he is not seeing the full picture, but Holmes assures him, with an intense stare, that she has nothing to hide.

Theranos was founded by Holmes when she was a 19-year-old Stanford dropout. The company claimed to revolutionize medical diagnostics with a single drop of blood from a finger prick, using its proprietary blood-testing technology, known as the Edison device.

However, in 2015, the company was investigated for massive fraud after a series of exposés by The Wall Street Journal. She was sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in federal prison on four counts of wire fraud and conspiracy for defrauding Theranos investors.

In 2023, Holmes invited Fielder to capture moments from her life 34 days before she went to prison and for some time after it. These recordings culminated in the documentary You Can See Everything, which is set to be released in theaters on October 16, 2026.
