Samuel L. Jackson Gets His Own Olympus Has Fallen & Die Hard Action Movie in The Beast Trailer
Samuel L. Jackson takes on a new action role in the first trailer for The Beast. The upcoming movie puts the Oscar-nominated actor in the middle of a violent attack on the U.S. government. The tense situation forces him to fight for his survival while trying to stop a national crisis.
Directed by Renny Harlin, the movie also stars Joel Kinnaman and Guy Burnet. The trailer shows a chaotic mix of car chases, gunfights, and close combat as Jackson’s President is forced to take control of the presidential limousine.
The movie shares elements with Die Hard and Olympus Has Fallen while putting the President directly into the action. Rather than relying on traditional protection, Jackson’s character has to use the armored presidential vehicle to survive the attack and fight back.

What happens in The Beast trailer?
The trailer begins with a major attack on the U.S. government. A heavily armed militia launches a coordinated assault. The sudden turn of events leaves the president’s security team dead, cutting off his access to federal support.
With no safe way out, the President, played by Samuel L. Jackson, gets inside the presidential limousine, known as “The Beast.” He eventually takes control of the vehicle and uses its military equipment to defend himself from the attackers.
The President then teams up with wounded Secret Service agent Taft, played by Joel Kinnaman. The two attempt to escape while facing checkpoints, explosions, and attacks from the militia.
The trailer shows the pair using the limousine to ram through roadblocks and survive heavy gunfire. Their mission goes beyond simply escaping. They must also find the agent’s missing colleague, rescue the First Lady, and stop the attack before the situation gets worse.
The Beast arrives in theaters nationwide on October 9, 2026.
