Benedict Cumberbatch & Rosamund Pike Wage a Twisted Power Struggle in Wife and Dog Trailer

Benedict Cumberbatch and Rosamund Pike face off in the first teaser trailer for Wife and Dog, the upcoming thriller from writer-director Guy Ritchie. The film takes viewers into the world of a wealthy British family, where power, money, and succession turn relatives against one another.

The trailer introduces the Fairbank family and hints at the bitter feud brewing beneath its lavish public facade. As questions surrounding the family succession intensify, long-buried grudges begin to surface.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Rosamund Pike lead a star-studded cast

Cumberbatch and Pike are joined by a strong supporting cast that includes Cosmo Jarvis, James Norton, Paddy Considine, and Anthony Hopkins. Jarvis is known for Shōgun, while Norton has appeared in Happy Valley. 

Considine recently starred in House of the Dragon, and Hopkins brings two Academy Awards to the ensemble.

The cast gives Wife and Dog a notable collection of British acting talent. The story centers on the Fairbank succession battle, allowing the characters to compete for influence while dealing with the consequences of their family’s internal divisions.
