Nicholas Hoult and Pete Davidson can be seen being chased by Zoë Kravitz in the How to Rob a Bank trailer. Amazon MGM Studios has released a new trailer for the anticipated heist movie. It is directed by David Leitch, who is best known for action movies like Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, and The Fall Guy.
The official synopsis reads, “In How to Rob a Bank, a crew of social media-savvy bank robbers broadcasts their daring heists, unaware that their growing viral fame has put them in the crosshairs of a veteran FBI agent and a brilliant software engineer. Despite the unlikely duo closing in, the crime ring pushes past their limits, putting everything on the line for their beliefs — and their most ambitious heist yet.”

What to know about How to Rob a Bank, from its cast to its November release
Just like Leitch‘s other action-comedy movies, How to Rob a Bank follows a similar comedic style as seen in the trailer. The new trailer sheds more light on the heist and characters than the previously released one.
In this trailer, Hoult and Davidson star as members of a crew of bank robbers who stream their heists on social media. Meanwhile, Kravitz teams up with John C. Reilly to catch these criminals, leading to a cat-and-mouse chase.
Alongside the aforementioned cast members, the ensemble also includes Anna Sawai, Rhenzy Feliz, and Christian Slater. The movie is written by Mark Bianculli. Brian Grazer, Jeb Brody, Allan Mandelbaum, Kelly McCormick, and Leitch serve as producers for the action-comedy. Executive producers include Bianculli and Ben Ormand.
The R-Rated movie was previously slated to release in theaters on September 4, 2026. However, this movie will be released on November 13, 2026, during the Thanksgiving season. According to a Deadline report, Amazon MGM Studios delayed the film’s release after analyzing how audiences aged 18-34 responded to its marketing materials. So, the studio planned to release the movie during a window that better targets this key demographic.
