Olivia Wilde’s New Naughty Movie With Jennifer Aniston Casts Beloved Star Wars Star
Olivia Wilde‘s latest movie with Jennifer Aniston, Naughty, has cast a beloved Star Wars star in its ensemble. The upcoming is directed by Wilde on a script written by Jimmy Warden.
As reported by Deadline, Chase Sui Wonders is looking to get in the holiday spirit for this next high-profile comedy project of hers. She is renowned for voicing the character Tafflah in the eight-episode animated limited series Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi, which was released earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Wonders is coming off the first season of the Emmy-winning Apple series The Studio. In the show, she plays Matt Remick’s eager assistant, Quinn Hackett. The actress was also nominated for a Gotham TV Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series for her role in The Studio.
What is Olivia Wilde’s Naughty movie about?
Scheduled to hit the screens next year, Wilde’s Naughty is a holiday comedy movie being distributed by Universal Pictures. It follows Mallory (played by Aniston), who needs to secure custody of her son from her gaslighting, trash-bag ex. But her only hope of being able to do so is by finding Santa Claus (played by Peter Dinklage) and convincing him to appear and testify in her divorce hearing.
As of this writing, Wonders’ role in the comedy remains unconfirmed. However, Deadline reported sources’ claim that the actress will be playing a friend joining Aniston on her trip to the North Pole, though this has yet to be officially confirmed. Additionally, other cast details have yet to be released as well.
Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara will produce through LuckyChap, as will Wilde and Warden. Executive Vice President of Production Development Sara Scott and Director of Production Development Jacqueline Garell will oversee the project for the studio.
Naughty is currently in its pre-production stage and is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 5, 2027.
