Fall 2: How Virginia Gardner & Grace Caroline Currey Return for Deadpoint Sequel

Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey have made a comeback in the Deadpoint sequel. Directed by Michael and Peter Spierig, Fall 2: Deadpoint hit theaters on September 2, 2026.

Gardner’s character, Shiloh, died in the previous movie. But the actor does make an appearance in the new project, via flashbacks. During one such scene, Shiloh could be spotted skydiving with her sister Jax, played by Harriet Slater. Apart from Shiloh, fans can also spot Curry’s Becky in a similar flashback sequence. In an interesting development, Jax and Becky have a heated conversation, as Jax blames the latter for her sister’s demise.

The synopsis of the movie, per Rotten Tomatoes, reads, “On a perilous climb across Thailand’s Mount Kwan, two climbers become trapped thousands of feet above the ground, where vertigo-inducing heights, sheer exposure, and impossible odds turn every moment into a fight for survival.” Fall 2: Deadpoint has secured a 53% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

Another Fall movie is in the works after Fall 2: Deadpoint

Creators of Fall have hinted that they have more stories in development beyond Deadpoint. The high-altitude survival franchise has ended Fall 2: Deadpoint with Becky appearing in flashbacks. Following that, at the end of the 100-minute film, she receives an invitation from Jax to attend a memorial for Shiloh. With such an ending, Fall 2 has set up an adventurous plot for Fall 3.

Fall was released back in August 2022. Following that, in October 2023, Capstone Studios confirmed two sequels to the film, per The Hollywood Reporter. The first film was directed by Scott Mann who produced Fall 2: Deadpoint. He is also a part of the confirmed upcoming Fall 3 as a producer.

“These two new sequels are wonderful opportunities to expand on the original. We want to now take the franchise even further as we assemble the very best team and ideas to ensure the next hair-raising, death-defying and pulse-pounding film to global audiences,” Capstone’s Christian Mercuri told The Hollywood Reporter, reflecting on the sequels.
