Hellbilly Hollow Trailer: Horror Movie Turns Halloween Ride Into Killer’s Game | Exclusive

ComingSoon is exclusively revealing the greenband trailer for Hellbilly Hollow, the next horror film by Kevin Wayne. The film comes from Bald Man Films and Todd Slater’s Convoke Media, described as a throwback to classics like Terrifier and Friday the 13th. As the name suggests, the film is inspired by and set in the eponymous haunted attraction and theme park in Alabama.

Hellbilly Hollow follows a team of paranormal YouTubers who set out to film at the haunted attraction a night before Halloween. Unbeknownst to them, a terrifying presence known as Tickles, a childlike clown, starts to haunt them. Tickles is joined by his brother, Bull, described as a “manipulative caretaker.” Like classic slasher films, the group of YouTubers starts falling victim to the siblings’ sadism.

What do we see in the Hellbilly Hollow trailer?

The trailer shows a group of YouTubers visiting Hellbilly Hollow to film their next video. While the night starts well, the group soon finds itself in disturbing situations at the attraction. During a stay in the woods, the group starts getting attacked by Tickles, a clown. The footage ends with a montage of the group using scrappy gear to fend off Tickles as certain members get picked apart by him.

“I’ve wanted to make a horror film for a long time – but not just any horror film,” shared Wayne, who also plays Tickles. “With Hellbilly Hollow, I saw a chance to tell a true Southern horror story – one that’s sinister and twisted, atmospheric and character-driven, not just reliant on jump scares and gore.”

Hellbilly Hollow stars Kurt Deimer, Kevin Wayne, Danny Vinson, Sandra Ellis Lafferty, Megan Alexandrea Weaver, Hallie Shepherd, Trey Miller, and Keller Fornes. It was shot on location at the real Hellbilly Hollow in Alabama, with many practical set pieces designed to show off its attractions. These include Wack-a-Troll, High Striker, Acid Darts, and a Car Dunk scene, designed by executive producer and production designer Mike Denard.

The film’s original score is composed by Ministry’s Roy Mayorga, and it features original songs by Deimer. David Brower serves as the film’s cinematographer. It is produced by Kurt Deimer and Todd Slater. Michael T. Clarke, Mike Denard, Andy Gould, David Miller, Tim Miller, James Srygley, Kevin Wayne, and Brandon Evans serve as executive producers on the film. Wayne directed the film from a screenplay by Bernadette Chapman.

Hellbilly Hollow will be released in select U.S. theaters on September 25, 2026. Atlas Distribution Company is handling the film’s release in the country.
