X-Men: Patrick Stewart’s New Professor X Costume for Avengers: Doomsday Gets Best Look Yet
X-Men star Patrick Stewart’s new Professor X costume for Avengers: Doomsday gets its best look yet through a new Hot Toys figure. The collectible offers a closer view of Charles Xavier’s appearance before the Marvel movie arrives in theaters.
Inspired by Stewart’s look in the film, the 1/6-scale figure features a newly developed head sculpt. It has separate rolling eyeballs that let collectors adjust his gaze. The design also includes detailed facial features and a body with 30 points of articulation. Professor X wears a dark navy ribbed inner shirt with a matching tactical jacket. The jacket features the iconic X-Men logo, while his belt carries the same symbol. Navy pants and black shoes complete the outfit.
The figure measures approximately 9.65 inches tall, including the wheelchair. Its body has a built-in magnetic function for secure attachment to the chair. Six interchangeable hands also allow collectors to recreate different poses. The highly articulated figure also uses magnets to keep Professor X securely attached to his wheelchair.
The wheelchair comes with an articulated joystick and rotatable wheels. The set also includes a Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters sign. A wooden floor-themed graphic card recreates a scene from the official trailer.
What other X-Men characters will appear in Avengers: Doomsday besides Professor X?
Several familiar X-Men characters are returning alongside Patrick Stewart’s Professor X. Ian McKellen reprises Magneto, while James Marsden returns as Cyclops. Rebecca Romijn plays Mystique again and Alan Cumming is returning as Nightcrawler. Kelsey Grammer will be seen as Beast. Channing Tatum also reprises Gambit.
The X-Men will be part of a much larger Marvel crossover. Robert Downey Jr. stars as Victor von Doom, while the cast also includes Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie and Florence Pugh.
As per the official synopsis, “Avengers: Doomsday follows beloved heroes from three distinct universes as they’re set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.”
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to release exclusively in theaters on December 18, 2026. Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, with Stephen McFeely as the writer. The movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes.
