Sadie Sink has impressed many through her performance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Marvel fans now feel she is the ideal actress to headline their X-Men franchise in the future. The movie features her as a young version of Jean Grey and paves the way for her journey in the MCU.

What’s next for Sadie Sink in the MCU after Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
After Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey is expected to become one of the MCU’s key mutant characters. At the end of the film, Jean leaves New York after Peter Parker convinces her not to kill Bill Metzger. She sets out in search of a new beginning, and it seems like she might go to Professor Charles Xavier’s school very soon.
The film also hints at Jean becoming the Dark Phoenix by showing the strong emotions she struggles to control.
Marvel Studios confirmed that a new X-Men movie is currently in development. However, it will premiere after Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). Before that, there’s going to be Avengers: Doomsday featuring some legacy X-Men actors from the Fox movies.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously made a comment regarding the rebooted X-Men universe, stating that it would center on a younger generation of mutants. This places Sink squarely in the mix for Marvel’s next installment.
