Netflix ranks its films based on total views during their first 91 days of release. Swapped is one of only two animated films on Netflix’s all-time Top 10 list, alongside KPop Demon Hunters.

The movie was released on May 1, 2026. It revolves around Ollie, a pookoo, who unintentionally switches bodies with Ivy, a javan, in a supernatural encounter. To break the spell and save their shared forest, the two sworn foes must cooperate.

Ollie and Ivy are voiced by Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple, respectively. Their performances bring the two central characters to life. The characters discover how to see the world through each other’s eyes.

In a statement shared by Netflix, director Nathan Greno thanked audiences for the film’s success.
