UK retailer Menkind now lists the Marvel Avengers Doomsday 12 Days Socks Advent Calendar for pre-order at £30.00 ($39.70). The product carries an expected release date of September 9, 2026. It features Marvel Avengers-themed socks with unique character sock designs inspired by the upcoming film.
The calendar measures approximately 15cm x 30cm x 5cm and targets comic enthusiasts and collectors. Each of the 12 days reveals a new pair of superhero-themed socks. The product joins a growing wave of Doomsday merchandise ahead of the film’s December 18, 2026 release.
Disney’s Merchandise Expo in China previously showcased concept art of Doctor Doom from the film. That event also featured a light show centered on Doom with Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four logos. The Russo brothers have called Downey’s Doom costume their favorite from the entire MCU.
Robert Downey Jr. stars as Victor von Doom after previously playing Tony Stark across the Infinity Saga. Joe Russo said Doom hits the “sweet spot” of balancing original story elements with “the most awesome things about Doom in the comics.” Downey developed his own backstory for the character and contributed costume ideas during production.
The film brings together heroes from three different universes to face Doom’s threat. Marvel announced 26 cast members alongside Downey in March 2025 during a livestream event. That livestream accumulated 275 million views in its first 24 hours and generated 3.1 million social media mentions.
Principal photography ran from April to September 2025 at Pinewood Studios in England. The production also filmed on location in Bahrain and Windsor Great Park. Alan Silvestri returns as composer after scoring both Infinity War and Endgame.
