A Minecraft Movie and five other films are leaving Amazon Prime Video soon. Subscribers have only a short time left to watch the movies before they leave the streaming service. These titles feature Hollywood stars including Robin Williams, Woody Harrelson, Tom Hiddleston, and Simu Liu.

A Minecraft Movie and a few must-watch films are leaving Prime Video in June

Amazon Prime Video will drop five movies from its streaming library on Friday, June 19, 2026.

The most notable movie to exit the platform is A Minecraft Movie, which is based on the highly successful game franchise of the same name. It stars Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge. It centers on an unlikely group of people who are transported into the blocky Overworld after walking through a mysterious portal. Despite its critical response, the movie made $960.3 million at the box office.

Next on the list is the 2015 movie, High-Rise, starring Tom Hiddleston. It is based on J. G. Ballard’s eponymous novel and centers on Robert Laing as he moves into a modern apartment tower where rich and poor people live on different floors. As problems in the building grow, residents turn against each other. The movie currently has a 60% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The 2010 Norwegian fantasy movie, Trollhunter, will make its way out of Prime Video as well. It follows a group of student filmmakers who investigate a mysterious bear hunter. To their surprise, the man is not hunting bears, but rather giant trolls. Upon release, the movie received favorable reviews, earning 83% from critics and 72% from users.

Robin Williams’ 2008 dark comedy, World’s Greatest Dad, is another title that’s exiting the platform. It is about a struggling teacher and single father whose teenage son dies in an embarrassing accident. To protect his son’s reputation, he creates a fake suicide note, which draws unexpected attention and leads to complicated consequences. The movie was a box-office disaster but earned a respectable 88% critics’ score.

The fifth movie to leave Prime Video is Last Breath, which is based on a true incident. The story is about a deep-sea diver who becomes trapped hundreds of feet underwater, while his fellow divers race against time to save him. The movie received a 79% approval rating, with praise for its edge-of-the-seat survival adventure.
