Another Wayans Brothers Comedy Becomes a Streaming Hit Amid Scary Movie 6 Buzz
As Scary Movie 6 dominates the box office following its theatrical release, a different Wayans brothers movie has emerged as a big hit on streaming. Helmed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, White Chicks is currently available on Hulu and occupies a rank among the Top 10 films on the streaming platform.
White Chicks ranks high on Hulu charts
The 2004 release holds the seventh spot on Hulu’s Top 10 Movies list as of June 9, 2026.
According to FlixPatrol, the other entries on the list are Send Help, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Keeper, The Secret Life of Pets 2, Madea Goes to Jail, Jumanji: The Next Level, National Treasure, Kung Fu Panda, and Hannah Berner: None of My Business.
White Chicks also holds the 11th spot on Hulu’s overall charts. Notably, the data from FlixPatrol isn’t necessarily complete, but it does give a broader picture.
Keenen Ivory Wayans directed the film from a script he penned with Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Michael Anthony Snowden, and Xavier Cook. The cast includes Shawn Wayans as Kevin Copeland/Brittany Wilson, Marlon Wayans as Marcus Anthony Copeland II/Tiffany Wilson, John Heard as Warren Vandergeld, Busy Philipps as Karen Googlestein, Jessica Cauffiel as Tori Wilson, Jennifer Carpenter as Lisa Anderson, Frankie Faison as Chief Elliott Gordon, Lochlyn Munro as Agent Jake Harper, and Eddie Velez as Agent Vincent Gomez.
White Chicks revolves around FBI agents and brothers Kevin and Marcus. Facing desperate circumstances, the brothers undergo drastic transformations through prosthetics and make-up to look like a pair of sisters from a different ethnicity.
White Chicks made $113 million at the global box office (via Box Office Mojo) even though the critics panned the movie. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film currently has a 15% Tomatometer rating. However, the movie remains a favorite among the general audience and fans, as reflecting in the 55% Popcornmeter score.
In February, Marlon Wayans also teased White Chicks 2, noting that it might happen if Scary Movie 6 performs well commercially. As mentioned above, that very thing is happening now. Accordingly, White Chicks 2 seems to be within the realm of possibility.
