3 New Supergirl Clips Show Superman & Lobo’s 1st Appearance
Warner Bros. has unveiled three new clips from Supergirl, providing a fresh look at the upcoming DC Universe film. The previews include Kara Zor-El’s first on-screen meeting with Superman, offering a closer look at the dynamic between the cousins. The clips also introduce Jason Momoa’s Lobo in a new scene and showcase additional moments from Kara’s journey across space.
New Supergirl clips revealed with Lobo and Superman
Warner Bros. has released several new clips from Supergirl, showing fresh footage of both Superman and Lobo ahead of the film’s release. The previews provide a look at Kara Zor-El’s arrival on Earth, her first interaction with her famous cousin, and the introduction of Jason Momoa’s Lobo.
One of the clips focuses on Kara’s arrival on Earth shortly after her spacecraft lands with Krypto. The scene shows David Corenswet’s Superman greeting his younger cousin, though their first conversation proves difficult because he has not yet learned Kryptonian. As Kara follows him toward the Fortress of Solitude, she questions why he is dressed “in his underwear” before Superman explains that her powers should begin developing at any moment.
Another clip provides a new look at Lobo. The clip introduces Momoa’s take on the infamous bounty hunter, with Kara describing him as “an immortal with a god complex” who “killed off his entire planet.” The scene then follows Lobo as he walks up to what appears to be a bar while searching for a specific individual.
A third clip shifts the focus back to Kara and highlights a larger mission. It offers a more detailed impression of the kind of worlds, characters, and locations she will encounter along the way.
With its release scheduled for June 26, 2026, Supergirl will further expand the DC Universe following the events of Superman. Craig Gillespie directed the film, which stars Milly Alcock in the title role. Momoa, Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, and David Krumholtz round out the film’s main cast.
