Bill Skarsgård and Colman Domingo‘s highly rated crime drama movie has finally found a streaming home. As of today, the 2026 film Dead Man’s Wire is officially available to stream on Netflix, more than four months after it was released in theaters.

In Dead Man’s Wire, Skarsgård plays Tony Kiritsis, a desperate man who unexpectedly becomes an outlaw hero after kidnapping his mortgage broker. Meanwhile, Domingo portrays a local radio DJ who becomes the negotiator between Tony and the police. Following its world premiere at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival, the movie garnered positive reviews from critics. It currently has a Fresh score of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 163 reviews.

Dead Man’s Wire also starred Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Myha’la (Industry), Al Pacino (The Irishman), Jordan Claire Robbins (The Umbrella Academy), Daniel R. Hill (Second Chances), and more. The film was directed by Good Will Hunting filmmaker Gus Van Sant, with Austin Kolodney writing the screenplay.
