Beloved TMNT and D&D Movies To Stream Free Next Week

Paramount Pictures’ popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dungeons & Dragons movies will soon be available to stream for free. TMNT: Mutant Mayhem and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves are both highly rated fantasy comedy movies released in 2023. Honor Among Thieves currently holds a 91% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while the latest animated TMNT movie is slightly higher at 95%.

Starting on June 1, Paramount Pictures’ TMNT: Mutant Mayhem and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will finally be streaming for free, exclusively on Pluto TV. During its theatrical run, the latest animated TMNT movie grossed over $180 million at the box office worldwide. As for the live-action Dungeons & Dragons movie, despite its critical success, it had a disappointing box office performance. It only grossed around $208 million against a budget of $150 million.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem was directed by Jeff Rowe, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The animated superhero film featured the voices of Rose Byrne, John Cena, Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Ayo Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, Rogen, Paul Rudd, Maya Rudolph, and more. Due to its success, an untitled sequel is now underway and is set to debut on August 23, 2027.

“After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts,” reads the official synopsis. “Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a notorious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was written and directed by Game Night duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. The film starred Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Hugh Grant, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, and Regé-Jean Page. Due to its poor box office performance, the studio hasn’t been able to greenlight a sequel.

“The fantasy adventure film follows a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers on an epic quest to recover a lost relic — only for things to go dangerously wrong when they cross the wrong people,” reads the synopsis.
