And I wish them all the luck of the world. I can’t wait — it’s going to be amazing.”

His revelation came as Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed that the search for the next James Bond is officially underway. “The search for the next James Bond is underway,” the studio announced. “While we don’t plan to comment on specific details during the casting process, we’re excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time is right.”

Amazon MGM executive Courtenay Valenti is overseeing the process alongside director Denis Villeneuve and producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman. At the Cannes film festival, Valenti outlined the requirements for candidates, saying that the next James Bond must “ooze sex appeal.” The studio expects the selected actor to commit to at least three films.

Daniel Craig played Bond across five films, beginning with Casino Royale in 2006 and ending with No Time to Die in 2021. His predecessors include Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan.
