Netflix unveils first look at John Cena and Eric André’s Little Brother

Netflix has dropped the first look at Little Brother, offering an early glimpse at the pairing of John Cena and Eric André. The newly shared images outline the dynamic between their characters and establish the tone of the film ahead of its release.

The project marks a reunion for Cena and André, who previously appeared together on The Eric André Show. Their interaction was notably chaotic and reportedly left André with a concussion. In Little Brother, Cena plays a successful real estate agent, while André portrays a man from his past whose sudden return disrupts that stability.

The story centers on a carefully built life that is thrown off balance when the two reconnect. Years earlier, they were linked through a Big Brother-style mentorship program, where Cena’s character had taken André’s character out on occasion. After two decades, the protagonist receives a call about a hospitalized “brother.” He initially assumed it refers to his biological sibling, only to discover it is his former Little Brother. The unexpected return leads to a strained dynamic.

Despite his erratic behavior, André’s character gradually forms a bond with the family, particularly with the protagonist’s wife, played by Michelle Monaghan, and their children. This growing acceptance within the household further increases the conflict.

The supporting cast includes Christopher Meloni, Ego Nwodim, Sherry Cola, and Caleb Hearon. The film is directed by Matt Spicer, with screenplay by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel. Little Brother is scheduled to premiere on June 26, 2026, on Netflix.
