Wayans Brothers’ Hilarious Comedy Movie To Stream on Hulu Amid Sequel Talks

A 2004 buddy comedy starring the Wayans Brothers will land on Hulu’s streaming platform very soon. Despite its negative reception upon release, the film ultimately came on top as a commercial success and has since become a cult classic. Meanwhile, the lead actors have spoken about a potential sequel.

White Chicks sets Hulu streaming date in May

White Chicks is scheduled to begin streaming on Hulu from Friday, May 1, 2026 (via Hulu).

Released on June 23, 2004, the film received a mixed-to-negative reception. Most critics panned the film for its script and unsatisfying comedy. As a result, it ended up with a low 15% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Although the audience also had a similar opinion, the average user score stands at 55%.

On the other hand, White Chicks ended its theatrical run with a global haul of more than $113 million. Furthermore, over the years, the film reached a broader audience and emerged as a cult classic with a dedicated following. Naturally, fans have been waiting for a sequel.

While promoting Scary Movie 6, the Wayans Brothers admitted they were aware of fans’ demand for a sequel. They seemed hesitant to provide any confirmation, but the actors said that they are open to making a sequel. Specifically, Shawn said that if Scary Movie 6 does well, White Chicks 2 “can happen.”

Early this year, during his appearance on the Rap Attack Official podcast, Marlon also said the success of Scary Movie 6 could determine whether White Chicks 2 could happen.

White Chicks follows two FBI agents, Marcus and Kevin Copeland. They get into an accident while escorting wealthy socialites, Brittany and Tiffany Wilson, to the Hamptons, who are also suspected to be the next victims of a kidnapping spree.

After the sisters refuse to go with them due to minor injuries, the agents disguise themselves as the sisters using prosthetics. Undercover, the two agents try to get to the bottom of the kidnapping string.

The cast features Shawn Wayans as Kevin, Marlon Wayans as Marcus, John Heard as Warren, Busy Philipps as Karen, Jessica Cauffiel as Tori, Terry Crews as Latrell, Jaime King as Heather, and Frankie Faison as Chief Elliott, among others.
