Hoppers Digital, 4K, Blu-ray & DVD Release Date Set for Pixar Hit Movie

Pixar and Disney have officially announced the Hoppers 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for the hit movie that released in theaters earlier this year, as well as when the digital release for the movie is set.

When is the Hoppers 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release date?

Hoppers is set to release on digital platforms on April 28, 2026, when the movie will be available on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. Then, on June 2, 2026, the movie will release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. The 4K UHD version of the movie will also be available in a collectible, limited edition Steelbook that features a variety of the animals from the movie on it.

Alongside the release, the film’s home version will also include a ton of bonus features, including a litany of behind-the-scenes material from the film, including:

• The Critter Diaries: Wander behind the scenes with director Daniel Chong and the Pixar team as they explore Yellowstone, study wildlife, and find real-life inspiration for our favorite new animated characters from Hoppers.
• Hopping In: The Making of Hoppers: Hop into the making of the movie as filmmakers, cast, and crew share how their ideas, collaboration, and creative process brought the story, animation, and lovable characters to life in Pixar’s Hoppers.
• “Meet King George” Scene Breakdown: Dive deep with director Daniel Chong and his filmmaking team as they reveal the craft of making King George’s Superlodge. Get insight into the directing process, editing, VFX, animation, and production design.
• Beaverton Revealed: Explore Hoppers to find surprising Pixar film cameos, hidden references, and plenty of fun, behind-the-scenes facts.

Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong from a script co-written by Chong and Jesse Andrews. The film stars the voices of Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Kathy Najimy, Dave Franco, Eduardo Franco, Aparna Nancherla, Tom Law, Sam Richardson, Melissa Villaseñor, and more.

Hoppers was a hit for Disney when it released, earning $368 million at the global box office and becoming the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2026.

“Scientists have discovered how to ‘hop’ human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals, allowing people to communicate with animals as animals! Using the new technology, Mabel (Curda) will uncover mysteries within the animal world that are beyond anything she could have imagined,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
