Natalie Portman Reveals That She’s Pregnant

Natalie Portman is pregnant with her third child with her partner, the French music producer Tanguy Destable. She recently revealed the news to Harper’s Bazaar and shared several things about the pregnancy. The 44-year-old actress shares two children with her previous husband, choreographer Benjamin Millepied.

Black Swan star Natalie Portman revealed that she was expecting her first child with her current partner, Tanguy Destable. The 44-year-old actress shared the news with Harper’s Bazaar in an exclusive interview.

“Tanguy and I are very excited,” Portman noted, “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

Being the daughter of a fertility doctor, Portman is very aware of the challenges that naturally come with fertility and childbirth. “I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” she said, “I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing.”

Portman added, “There is a gratitude that when you’re young, you don’t necessarily grasp. And there’s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. And knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.”

Portman added that she felt great about the physical changes. “I have more energy than I thought I might,” she said, noting that she does not feel very different from her last pregnancy. Portman has also been swimming and doing Gyrotonics.

Natalie Portman has two major upcoming projects on the horizon, meanwhile. Portman is set to appear in Cathy Yan’s The Gallerist, which comes from MountainA, the production company she co-founded with Sophie Mas in 2020. Portman has also completed filming for Netflix’s Good Sex, which will come out in early 2027.
