Jack Ryan: Ghost War Trailer Previews John Krasinski’s Explosive Prime Video Movie

Amazon MGM Studios released the official trailer for Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War, the upcoming movie starring John Krasinski as the titular hero from the Prime Video show.

“After four successful seasons on Prime Video, this feature film finds our relatable hero Jack Ryan pulled back into the world of espionage for his most personal and dangerous mission yet,” the logline reads.

What happens in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War?

In Ghost War, Krasinski returns to play Jack Ryan, the CIA analyst who eventually becomes a top field operative. The actor headlined Prime Video’s Jack Ryan series for four seasons. The action-packed trailer teases a globe-trotting adventure that will push Jack to his limits.

Besides Krasinski, returning cast members include Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, and Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth Wright. Other cast members include Max Beesley, JJ Feild, Douglas Hodge, and Sienna Miller as MI6 officer Emma Marlowe.

“Jack Ryan is reluctantly thrust back into the world of espionage when an international covert mission unravels a deadly conspiracy, forcing him to confront a rogue black-ops unit, and the clock is ticking,” the official synopsis reads. “Operating in real time with lives on the line and the threat escalating at every turn, Jack reunites with battle-tested CIA operative Mike November (Kelly) and former CIA boss James Greer (Pierce), their combined experience the only edge they have against an enemy who knows their every move. Andrew Bernstein directs Jack Ryan: Ghost War from a screenplay by Aaron Rabin and John Krasinski, based on a story by Krasinski and Noah Oppenheim. The movie is based on characters created by Tom Clancy. Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, and Andrew Form are producers. Clancy, John J. Kelly, Alexa Ginsburg, and Carlton Cuse serve as executive producers.

Jack Ryan: Ghost War premieres globally on Prime Video on May 20, 2026.
