Tom Hardy’s $1.9B Movie & More Included in New Disney+ Releases This Week

Disney+’s new TV and movie release schedule for April 13 to April 19, 2026, includes a 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film that features a Tom Hardy appearance.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives on the streaming platform on April 15. The superhero film focuses on Tom Holland’s Peter Parker seeking help from Doctor Strange to make his identity as Spider-Man a secret once again. However, the spell ends up unleashing characters from across the multiverse, leading to massive chaos.

Former Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield also appear in the film. Additionally, Hardy’s Eddie Brock/Venom from Sony’s Spider-Man universe makes an uncredited cameo in the mid-credits scene. The film opened to positive reviews and grossed $1.921 billion worldwide, thus becoming the highest-grossing film of the year.

Furthermore, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 5 drops on Disney+. In the previous episode, viewers saw Dex killing a squad of AVTF while Matt, Kristen, and Karen record the statements of Red Hook detainees.
